CDC counts by the patient's state of residence. A North Carolina resident treated at a clinic in another state still counts here, so CDC notes that state figures may not reflect the clinics located in North Carolina.
The state rate tells you how much ART residents used in 2021. It does not rank clinics. Ask each one for its results for women your age and with your diagnosis, and for a written breakdown of what a cycle includes.

The full list of questions and the five phases of IVF are in Chapter 35 of Map to the Positive, in Station IV. The same station covers when to see a specialist, how to choose a doctor and the treatment ladder.
